It doesn’t come as a shock that the majority of us don’t trust utility companies. We believe that the best way to earn trust back is through transparency on where and how ones money is being spent.
Via Dominion’s Smart Home Initiative, we utilize smart devices to pout the power back in the people’s hands.
App Design
We wanted to design an app that was easy to use, informative, and put the power back in the hands of our customers.
1. Link any smart device and access your account from a single app.
2. View Energy spent by the day, week, or month.
3. View data by room overall or by devices in the room.
4. Manage notifications about usage and control devices
Direct Mail
By partnering with a smart device company such as Samsung SmartThings, Dominion can mail their customers a free smart outlet that is easy to use and low cost.
For costumers not using smart devices, this product is easy to use and low commitment
For those with higher smart device usage, it is a nice addition they can use for any outlet in their home and a reminder that they can link their current devices for more control.
